Credit union taps new CFO

Silver State Schools Credit Union has selected its new chief financial officer.
Raymond Wilson takes over effective immediately for retiring CFO David Fischer. He has more than 25 years of financial executive experience, said Rebecca Freeman, SSSCU director of marketing.
Wilson most recently served as president and CFO of Financa and Thrift Financial Services in Porterville, Calif., Freeman said.
Wilson received a master of accountancy and financial information systems as well as a bachelor of business administration in finance from Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio, according to SSSCU.
SSSCU is a state-chartered financial cooperative that serves more than 55,000 members of the educational community and
their families in Nevada with eight branches throughout the Las Vegas Valley.
