Lobbying practice merges with public relations agency

The Ferraro Group, a Nevada public relations and public affairs company with offices in Las Vegas, Reno, Phoenix and Carson City, said Monday it added Mike Sullivan’s lobbying practice in a merger.

Financial terms weren’t disclosed.

In a statement, Ferraro Group said Sullivan will oversee the agency’s local government public affairs. Before joining the firm, he was vice president of state government affairs for Porter Gordon Silver Communications, president of his own government affairs firm, Knight Government Affairs, and a partner in Paladin Advertising, a Southern Nevada political consulting agency, the statement said.

Sullivan has managed campaigns and handled government affairs in Nevada since 1990, the statement said. He oversees clients in transportation, banking, telecommunications and the public sector and has been a registered lobbyist in Carson City for more than a decade.
