DJ, model Paris Hilton has busy international schedule

I just happen to have Paris Hilton’s personal itinerary in front of me, and it looks hectic:

She DJs on Saturday at Rehab dayclub at the Hard Rock Hotel. Then she’ll party with DJ friends at nightclubs Omnia and XS and maybe Marquee.

Next, she flies to New York for a big photo shoot for a magazine. After that, she jets to Abu Dhabi, Los Angeles, Dubai, London, and France, all for performance dates in the next three weeks. And she is contracted to DJ on Saturdays in Ibiza, Spain, this summer.

On Thursday, I was looking at this itinerary and I told her she really seems to know how to seize life and work in a way that makes her happy.

“Thank you,” she said. “You live only once. I think you have to make the most of it. I’m very lucky that I’ve figured out an incredible way to have fun at the same time as working.”

She enjoys pool parties like Rehab ($20 for women, $40 for men), because “everyone’s raging daytime in beautiful weather.” (I like that about dayclubs, too.)

She digs electronic dance music, especially progressive house, because “I like songs that are fun, bouncy and energetic and get the crowd going crazy.”

“There’s no music that does that to anybody except for this type of music,” she said.

And she’s got a new single, “High Off My Love,” coming out with a naughty video in May.

“The video is amazing. I based it off of Madonna’s ‘Justify My Love’ video mixed with ‘50 Shades of Grey.’ It’s very sexy. I’ve never done a music video like this one,” she said.

How does she handle all the globetrotting?

“I’ve been in this business a long time,” she said. “I’ve gotten used to this type of schedule. I enjoy it. I love working and being successful. It really fulfills me in life.”

And there is the least tabloid-y Paris Hilton interview you’ll ever read, because not everything has to be scandalicious, people.
