Inmate dies at Northern Nevada Correctional Center

An inmate died Sunday morning in Carson City, the Nevada Corrections Department said.
Guadalupe Orozco, 56, died at the Northern Nevada Correctional Center in the Regional Medical Facility about 10:30 a.m. Sunday, the department said.
Orozco was committed from Lyon County on Oct. 28, 1994, and was serving a sentence of 155 months to life without the possibility of parole for sexual assault, battery causing substantial bodily harm and child abuse causing substantial bodily harm.
The Carson City Sheriff’s office has scheduled an autopsy. Orozco’s next of kin has been notified.
