This would have taken a very clear crystal ball to predict back in the '90s, when you were jumping around to the ska sounds of Attaboy Skip at the Huntridge Theater, or some shorter-lived all-ages venue.

Who knew that two guys from that band would have major-label albums and shows to back them in the same week?

Brendan Campbell's Neon Trees plays an outdoor show today at Red Rock Resort, slightly ahead of Ronnie Vannucci of The Killers bringing his new project, Big Talk, to the Strip's Hard Rock Cafe on Wednesday.

The Trees play at 9 p.m. today at 11011 W. Charleston Blvd. Tickets are $32.50; call 547-5300.
