Your 5 best bets for music in the week ahead
February 12, 2016 - 10:29 am
Black Sabbath
Not that anybody needs added incentive to see Black Sabbath, but Saturday at Mandalay Bay Events Center is the second-to-last time you'll be able to see these legends live. Tickets range from $45.41 to $164.22.
Rascal Flatts
After a well-received run in Las Vegas last year, Rascal Flatts returns to town for another set of shows at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel. The band kicks off its nine-show residency Wednesday with support from Barrett Baber. Tickets start at $39.50.
Heavy duty
Hankering for some heavy music? House of Blues is the place to be this week. On Tuesday, Cradle of Filth shares a bill with Butcher Babies and Ne Obliviscaris ($25-$28). On Thursday, At the Gates is here with Decapitated, the Haunted and Harm's Way ($23-$25).
Built to Spill
The eternally beloved and always badass Built to Spill is due to play Tuesday at the Bunkhouse with the Hand and Iceberg Ferg. Tickets for the 21-and-older show, sure to be nothing short of brilliant, are $20.
Above & Beyond
After serving up a searing set at Electric Daisy Carnival last summer and surprising the dancing masses with a guest appearance by Bryan Cranston (aka Walter White), Above & Beyond is back Saturday for the first of two dates at Hakkasan (also Feb. 26).
