Olivia Newton-John announces Las Vegas residency

Olivia Newton-John is the next pop diva to offer a Las Vegas career retrospective, which will debut at the Flamingo April 8.

The Australian star most famous for the movie version of “Grease” will share the Flamingo showroom with fellow ’70s superstars Donny and Marie Osmond, performing select weeks during breaks of their longrunning show.

Newton-John’s first engagement will be April 8-12, returning May 6-10 and 27-31, and again in July and August. Tickets for all the dates are $69-$139 and go on sale Friday.

The 65-year-old singer had been eyeing a Las Vegas residency for some time, but tabled her plans to spend time with her older sister Rona, who died of brain cancer last May.
