Netflix has taken the world by stream, and now, the online media service has beaten out one of its chief competitors, HBO.

According to Mashable, Netflix has achieved 50 million streaming customers and has so far made $1.15 billion in subscriber revenue compared to HBO’s $1.14 billion in June.

“HBO rocks, and we are honored to be in the same league,” Netflix CEO Reed Hastings told Mashable.

With the rise of Netflix original series like “House of Cards” and “Orange Is the New Black,” the online service continues to dominate Home Box Office in growth.
