Satirical website Empire News posted a story on Wednesday headlined “Actress Betty White, 92, dyes peacefully in her Los Angeles home.”
Not realizing the story was a satirical take on White’s hair color, many took to social media to mourn the actress’ rumored death.
White’s agent confirmed to the LA Times that White is very much alive, working on the set of “Hot in Cleveland.”
