Started taking ballet, jazz and modern dance lessons at age 5. … Was inspired by watching music videos as a kid (wanted to be in a Janet Jackson or Mariah Carey video then, and would love to be in a Britney Spears video now). … Attended a performing arts high school, then earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance from Wright State University. … Danced with a number of modern dance companies in Ohio before heading west. … Planned to seek music video work on the West Coast, but discovered that she liked the dance opportunities Las Vegas offers. … Also has danced at the Pussycat Dolls lounge and the Hard Rock’s party pit. … Possible post-dance career: diagnostic medical sonography.

On why party pit dancing is fun:

“I think it’s probably the interaction with people. You have people out there who dance back at you — you do something, and then they do what you do. It’s like a dance-off, nothing serious, but fun. It’s real funny and makes for a fun time. (Laughs) That’s what I would do if I were out and about.”
