Four tiger cubs join Siegfried & Roy’s Mirage attraction — PHOTOS

The show ended 12 years ago, but Siegfried & Roy are still introducing new stars: Four tiger cubs will make their debut at noon Saturday at the retired illusionists' attraction at The Mirage.
The four cubs were born Aug. 5 at Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat, and are the first to be introduced at the attraction in five years.
The duo will introduce Liberty, a pure white female; Maharani, a striped white female; Hirah, a striped golden female and Justice, a light golden boy. The cubs are the babies of mother Indira and father Svengali.
Tigers, particularly the white subspecies of Bengel, were a trademark of the duo's magic show before Roy Horn was bitten onstage by one of the show tigers in October 2003. The bite in his neck triggered a stroke and left the entertainer partially paralyzed.
White tigers result from a recessive gene and tend to be perpetuated through the breeding efforts of Siegfried and Roy and others more than they are found in the wild.
The cubs will be on view in a specially designed nursery area starting at noon daily. Those who want to be there for Saturday's unveiling can see them by paying the attraction's regular admisson price, or follow the Twitter and Instagram handle @SARMOTIcubs or find them on Facebook here.
