"Perception" (10 p.m. Monday, TNT), the latest in this replace-a-cop genre, teams an FBI agent (Rachael Leigh Cook) with a neuroscience professor (Eric McCormack) who's also - surprise! - a paranoid schizophrenic.

He's a tangled mess of tics and eccentricities, some of which feel less forced than others.

But perception is all about what you see.

Even if, like "Perception," you've seen most of it before.
