Life Is Beautiful returning in October
Come fall, downtown will once again be swarmed in lobster tacos and alt-rock, as music, food and arts festival Life Is Beautiful returns for its second year on Oct. 24-26.
More than 60,000 people attended the inaugural Life Is Beautiful festival which took place last October over 15 square blocks downtown, where the streets were closed to traffic giving the event the feel of a massive block party, complete with gourmet food offerings from noted Las Vegas restaurants such as Nobu, cooking seminars from celebrity chefs and myriad art installation pieces, including a 3-D mural painted on the side of a building.
And of course, there was the music, spread out over five stages, which featured triumphant sets from Vegas’ own The Killers and Imagine Dragons as well as other big names like the Kings of Leon, Vampire Weekend and dozens more.
Ticket on sale dates for Life Is Beautiful 2014 will be announced at a later time.
