Rihanna gives $25,000 to LAPD after selfie slip
Rihanna has donated $25,000 to the Los Angeles Police Department after accidentally cracking the screen of L.A. Police Commission President Steve Soboroff Friday night at the Los Angeles Clippers Game 3 playoff game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The singer dropped the phone while trying to take a selfie with Soboroff and made the donation in addition to paying for the cracked screen. She also autographed the screen so it could be auctioned off for charity, according to NBC Bay Area.
The phone is currently going for $56,000 on eBay.
