Man claims self-defense; friend shot 11 times
A man who was arrested last week after police said he shot his friend said he acted in self-defense.
Troy Martinez, 32, said Brandon Kuhn, 32, hit him and tried to choke him after they got into an argument in Martinez’s home Thursday night, according to his arrest report.
Martinez’s wife also told police she saw Kuhn chasing Martinez through the house, located near Wigwam Avenue and the Las Vegas Beltway, but said she was in the other room when she heard one or two gunshots.
Police investitagors found 11 gunshot wounds in Kuhn’s body when they discovered him laying face down in Martinez’s bedroom.
They also said there was no sign of a struggle in the house.
