Coroner identifies infant found dead Thursday

An infant who died in a southwest valley home Thursday night has been identified as Aliyah Shlade, who was just one month and 29 days old, the Clark County coroner’s office said. Her official cause and manner of death remains pending.
Las Vegas police responded to the 3700 block of Arville Street, near Twain Avenue, after the father of the baby found her dead in bed. Metro’s abuse and neglect unit was called to investigate Aliyah’s death, a routine procedure for all infant deaths.
The parents have not been identified.
