Man wounded in North Las Vegas shooting Sunday morning

A man was wounded after being shot Sunday morning in North Las Vegas, according to North Las Vegas Police.
Police received a call about 8:50 a.m. that a man had been shot near the 3300 block of East Lake Mead Boulevard, near the intersection of Pecos Road.
When officers arrived, they found the man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to University Medical Center in stable condition, police said.
No arrests have been made, and no details regarding a possible suspect were immediately available. Police are still investigating the shooting.
