Two people, two dogs displaced following east Las Vegas house fire

Two people and their two dogs were displaced from their east Las Vegas home after a fire early Sunday.

Crews from the Clark County Fire Department, Las Vegas Fire & Rescue and North Las Vegas responded at 1:20 a.m. to a reported fully involved house fire at 2155 Bledsoe Lane, according to a statement from Clark County Assistant Fire Chief Larry Haydu.

Because of the extent of the fire, and that all occupants were accounted for outside of the house, crews immediately went into a defensive attack and fought the fire from outside the structure, Haydu said.

The fire extensively damaged the house. There were no injuries, and the cause of the fire had yet to be determined Sunday.
