Woman shot and killed in northwest Las Vegas Tuesday is identified

The woman shot and killed in the northwest valley Tuesday has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.
Chante Nicole Johnson, a 26-year-old Las Vegas resident, died from multiple gunshot wounds to the head, the coroner’s office said. Her death was ruled a homicide.
The shooting happened in the 5800 block of Delabarre Place, near North Jones Boulevard and West Smoke Ranch Road, at 11:36 p.m. Tuesday.
Metro said that no suspects are in custody, and no details about a possible suspect are available. The last information provided regarding this case was that a dark-colored sport utility vehicle was seen fleeing from the scene, Metro spokeswoman Laura Meltzer said.
