Officials identify man killed in wrong-way collision in Arizona

The Arizona Public Safety Department has identified a man who was fatally injured in a wrong-way driving incident in the community of Golden Valley on Wednesday.

The department said Mark Woodall, 50, of Golden Valley died while being flown to University Medical Center in Las Vegas.

Woodall was westbound on Arizona State Route 68 shortly after 10 p.m. when the Pontiac sedan he was driving crossed from the westbound lane into the eastbound lane and crashed into another vehicle, the department said.

The department said the driver of the second vehicle suffered nonlife-threatening injuries.
