Asian Chamber endorses Hardy’s re-election in 4th Congressional District

CARSON CITY — The Las Vegas Asian Chamber of Commerce on Monday endorsed U.S. Rep. Cresent Hardy for re-election, citing his dedication to helping small businesses grow and create jobs.

“A strong supporter of the Asian Chamber of Commerce, Congressman Cresent Hardy is always available to discuss business growth, development and community issues,” chamber President Sunny Vinuya said in a prepared statement. “As a businessman, he has a thorough understanding of small business, its needs, and how regulations affect the small-business community.”

Hardy, a Republican representing the 4th Congressional District, thanked the chamber.

“As a small-business owner, I spent most of my life creating jobs in the private sector, and I know firsthand the challenges they face,” he said. “Business leaders across Nevada are recognizing that these economically precarious times call for a proven job creator, not another professional politician.”

Hardy faces Democratic challenger and state Sen. Ruben Kihuen. Also running are Libertarian Steve Brown and Independent American Mike Little.
