Shaq trolls Pippen, claims best Lakers would crush best Bulls

Just call Shaquille O'Neal "The Big Hypothetical."

Perhaps bored during the NBA's offseason, the former Los Angeles Lakers big man posted a picture on Instagram of his all-time starting fives for the Lakers and Chicago Bulls and asked his followers who would win a hypothetical game between them.

His Lakers' squad was comprised of Magic Johnson, Kobe Bryant, Elgin Baylor, himself and Kareem Abdul-Jabaar and the Bulls featured Derrick Rose, Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman and Horace Grant.

Not surprisingly, Shaq predicted, "We would beat em by fifty "what you think". Let me know and don't hold back."

Pippen responded with a picture of himself and Jordan celebrating their sixth NBA title, posting "Sorry @shaq but I don't get caught up in hypotheticals. All I know is we won 6 titles, twice the amount you claimed while in LA..."

This started an Instagram skirmish between the two, with Shaq responding with a photoshopped version of Pippen's picture in which Pippen's head is replaced by Jordan's.

"Sorry @scottiepippen I don't believe in hypotheticals either, but I seen most of those final you did ok, but this guy did most the work. #youwereok steve kerr and Ron harper deserve more credit than you," O'Neal posted. "Remember I WAS BATMAN YOU WAS ROBIN , I was PUFFY YOU WAS MASE."

O'Neal then posted another picture of Pippen superimposed on the screen of the now-defunct T Mobile Sidekick, writing "Anybody need a T MOBILE SIDEKICK. I GOTTa PRETTY GOOD ONE #BESTSIDEKICKEVER."

Pippen replied with a photo of Shaq shooting a free throw, "Easy big fella...if only you were as good at free throws as you are talking smack!"

While we agree with O'Neal that the Lakers' all-time team would beat the Bulls, the all-time Boston Celtics (Bob Cousy, Paul Pierce, Larry Bird, Kevin McHale, Bill Russell) would be a much better matchup. Who would you take in that one?
