Customer says she was sexually assaulted during DirecTV appointment

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A television service subcontractor in West Hartford, Conneticut is accused of sexually assaulting a victim during an appointment.

Rashford Gordon, who subcontracts for DirecTV, was arrested on Wednesday following a complaint.

Police said the victim had an appointment with DirecTV to install equipment. The victim told police that the installer made advances and eventually committed the sexual assault.

The victim was transported to an area hospital, investigators told WFSB.

Police said they found Gordon at his next appointment. He was arrested and his employer was notified of the incident.

Gordon was charged with first-degree sexual assault and second-degree unlawful restraint. His bond was set at $250,000.
