An article in Thursday’s Business section quoted a Fontainebleau Las Vegas bankruptcy filing that incorrectly stated that Bank of Nevada was seized by the federal government. The seized bank actually was First National Bank of Nevada, which was closed in 2008. The attorney who filed the document has acknowledged the mistake and has committed to file a corrected document with the Bankruptcy Court in Miami. Bank of Nevada also stated it has never had a relationship with Fontainebleau Las Vegas, the multibillion-dollar Strip resort project.
