Man shot in northwest valley

A man was hospitalized Wednesday after being shot in the northwest valley, Las Vegas police said. Just before 8 p.m., police were called to the 2000 block of Winwood Street, near Jones and Lake Mead boulevards. Upon arrival, officers found the wounded man.
