North Las Vegas police reported Thursday that a man hit by a car in June later died of those injuries. Billy Collins, a 63-year-old North Las Vegas resident, was walking on the shoulder of Gowan Road, near Simmons Street, June 3 when a truck left its travel lane and hit him, police say.
