Health officials reported 1,177 new coronavirus cases and one death Sunday morning.
There are 1,276 new cases of the coronavirus, according to the state’s Department of Health and Human Services’ website.
The state’s positivity rate, which is calculated by the Review-Journal as the total cases divided by the number of people who have been tested since the start of the pandemic, rose by 0.02 percentage points on Sunday to reach 12.48 percent.
State health officials on Sunday reported 609 new coronavirus cases in Nevada, a day after recording the biggest one-day jump since mid-August.
That brings the total number of confirmed cases to 85,799 and the death toll to 1,661, according to the Department of Health and Human Services’ coronavirus website.
