There are a number of interesting league games taking place in Southern Nevada high school football this week. Here are five to keep an eye on.

Chaparral’s Dennis Perez make field goals of 24 and 33 yards in the game’s final three minutes, and the Cowboys claimed a 6-3 Southeast League victory over Basic.
Ryann Reese’s 19-yard touchdown run in triple overtime Wednesday lifted Boulder City’s flag football team to a 20-14 win over Moapa Valley in Overton.
Juan Estrada had two goals and an assist, and the Western boys soccer team scored three times in the second half on Thursday to break a 2-2 tie and defeat host Palo Verde, 5-3.
Shayne Dunn scored twice in the first half as Bonanza’s girls soccer team earned a 2-0 road win over Durango on Thursday.
Carlos Mendez supplied a goal and two assists Tuesday as the Valley boys soccer team held off Liberty at home, 5-4.
Kelly Lemus scored the game-winning goal midway through the second half, giving host Del Sol the 1-0 win over visiting Chaparral.
Karla Correa and Marlene Quirarte each scored a second-half goal Monday to help Virgin Valley’s girls soccer team to a 2-0 win over visiting Sunrise Mountain.
Nick Killian’s goal with three minutes left in the match Monday helped Coronado’s boys soccer team to a 3-2 win over visiting Rancho.
