Arbor View’s Keith Williams led at the front of a pack of five runners early. Eventually, he managed to hold off PahrumpValley’s Bryce Odegard and Centennial’s Alexander Miller in the final quarter mile, putting in a good finishing kick to cross the line in 16 minutes and 13 seconds.
Legacy’s Diego Gonzalez-Ruiz scored in the 70th minute on an assist from Randolph Anderson to give the Longhorns the 1-0 win over host Centennial on Monday.
