Darnell Washington had 22 points and 20 rebounds Saturday to help the Desert Pines boys basketball team outlast La Jolla Country Day 83-74 in two overtimes in the Under Armour Holiday Classic in San Diego.
Jaden Hardy had 28 points and 10 rebounds Thursday to lead the Coronado boys basketball team to an 81-69 win over Dominican (Wisconsin) in the Hoop City Classic in Mitchell, South Dakota.
Foothill was able to hang on for a 77-75 boys basketball victory over Timpanogos (Utah) on Saturday in the Tarkanian Classic at Bishop Gorman.
Rayshon Funches and Emmanuel Austin combined to score 22 points in the final 10 minutes as the Longhorns held on for a 68-66 win over Fairmont (California) in the Tarkanian Classic’s Eastbay Division at Faith Lutheran.
