After waiting patiently for Las Vegas Bulldogs pitcher Isaiah Salas to throw an inside fastball, Gage Ventura promptly stroked an RBI-double that scored Cole Schaefer and helped the second-seeded Las Vegas Aces (33-9) to a 6-5 victory.

Jack Sellinger induced a game-ending 1-6-3 double play as the Spring Valley baseball team held on for a 5-4 road victory over Palo Verde in the Sunset Region tournament.
Kevin Clark hit a two-run home run in the ninth inning Friday to lift Liberty’s baseball team to a 6-4 road victory over Las Vegas in the completion of a game suspended on March 9.
