Casey Ladeira homered on the first pitch of the bottom of the seventh inning Monday to give Bonanza’s baseball team a 9-8 win over visiting Palo Verde.
The Aggies were the Northwest League”s No. 1 playoff seed last season but went 1-2, including a 21-7 loss to Palo Verde in the Sunset Region tournament that ended their season. Led by all-state shortstop Nick Quintana, Arbor View has high hopes for this season.
