There are a number of interesting league games taking place in Southern Nevada high school football this week. Here are five to keep an eye on.

Austin Kryszczuk was 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs to help Centennial’s baseball team hold off host Arbor View, 9-8 on Friday.
Winning pitcher Brooke Detommaso went 3-for-4 with a double and six RBIs on Friday to help Bonanza’s softball team to a 19-7, six-inning victory at Las Vegas High.
Michael Rice tossed a three-hitter on Wednesday as Faith Lutheran’s baseball team held extended its lead in the Mountain League with a 4-1 win at Centennial.
Jasmine Martin tossed a five-hit shutout and struck out 12 Wednesday to lead host Shadow Ridge’s softball team to a 3-0 win over Arbor View in a battle of two of the top three teams in this week’s Review-Journal rankings.
MacKenzie Perry tossed a five-hitter and struck out 13 Thursday to lead Rancho’s softball team to a 6-1 home win over Palo Verde.
Mike Cianci tossed a perfect game Thursday to lead Mojave’s baseball team to a 3-0 home win over Del Sol.
Kelsey Howryla’s single to right field with one out in the top of the seventh inning plated Maggie Whipple with the go-ahead run as Faith Lutheran’s softball team rallied for a 12-10 win at Cimarron-Memorial on Tuesday.
Steven Giatti was 3-for-4 with two doubles, three runs and four RBIs on Tuesday as Arbor View’s baseball team handed host Palo Verde its second loss in as many days, 12-8.

No. 2-ranked Bishop Gorman lost to No. 1 Mater Dei in what was billed as the de facto high school football national title game Friday in Santa Ana, California.
