Nevada church gets $175K in COVID restriction settlement

Nevada has paid $175,000 to cover plaintiffs’ attorney fees in a lawsuit brought by a Dayton church last year that challenged an attendance limit on in-person worship services the state imposed to curb the spread of COVID-19.

Equal rights in Nevada may be headed for 2022 ballot

The resolution, first passed in 2019, could see a constitutional amendment on the ballot to guarantee equal rights regardless of gender, race, creed, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, ancestry or national origin.
