Las Vegas police enter guest room during Oct. 1 shooting — VIDEO

Metro police officers walk into a guest room on the 30th floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel after seeing that it was open to advise hotel guests of an active shooter on the night of the 1 October shooting.

Officer: Ready?

Metro police! Police department! Police department!

Background: (Man’s voice): Police department.

Officer: Metro police. Everybody ok?

Background: Everybody’s —-

Officer: Ok, lock the door. Your door is open. There’s someone shooting inside the casino.

Background: (Woman’s voice): Ok.

Officer: Lock the doors.

Background: (Woman’s voice): Ok.

Officer: Kay. It’s clear.

Background: (Woman’s voice): We’re clear. We’re clear. We’ll lock our doors right now.

Background: (Man’s voice, unclear if same man as earlier): We got one in there. We got one that’s in there.
