GIRLS SOCCER: Vikings hand Skyhawks first Northeast League loss

Miriam Jimenez-Carrillo scored three goals Tuesday to lead Valley’s girls soccer team to a 4-0 home win over Silverado.

Kayla Steiner added a goal and two assists for the Vikings, who handed Silverado its first Northeast League loss.

Fantija Williams and Ajanique Reece combined on the shutout.

Las Vegas 2, Liberty 1 — At Liberty, Alyssa Mireles and Yesenia Sanchez each had a goal as the Wildcats edged the Patriots.

Hannah Johnson scored for Liberty.

Western 1, Faith Lutheran 1 — At Faith Lutheran, Myrhiam Garcia scored midway through the second half to help the Warriors tie the Crusaders.

Kristi Chinn scored in the first half for Faith Lutheran.

Spring Valley 3, Mojave 0 — At Spring Valley, Janis Martinez-Ortiz had a goal and an assist to help the Grizzlies blank the Rattlers.

Sahana Bojorquez and Samantha Meyers also scored for Spring Valley.

Amberlynn Twigg made five saves to earn the shutout.

Centennial 5, Desert Oasis 2 — At Desert Oasis, McKenna Stratton scored twice, and Emilee Bohls and Victoria Cera each had a goal and an assist to lead the Bulldogs by the Diamondbacks.

Shae Hollan also scored for Centennial.

Sydni Aldan had a goal and an assist, and Chelsey Nedza also scored for Desert Oasis.

Arbor View 4, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Cimarron, Sierra Vicente scored two goals to help the Aggies cruise past the Spartans.

Haley Vicente had a goal and two assists, and Katelyn Laurente also scored for Arbor View.

Haylee Niemann logged three saves to earn the shutout

Pahrump Valley 6, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, Sydney Dennis scored two goals to help the Trojans rout the Desert Shields.

Ashlyn DiBlasi and Jamie Murphy each added a goal and an assist, and Brittany Klenzcar and Paige Chafee also scored for Pahrump.

Jessica Friesz had four saves to earn the shutout.
