Findlay Prep routed by No. 4 Montrose

Findlay Prep’s boys basketball team suffered its worst defeat of the season Saturday, losing 63-37 to Montrose Christian (Md.) in the Primetime Shootout in Union, N.J.
Montrose (19-1), ranked No. 4 nationally by USA Today, was coming off a 57-53 loss to Linden (N.J.) on Friday.
Tyrone Johnson led Montrose with 25 points. Anthony Bennett led the Pilots (24-3) with 12 points.
Findlay trailed 14-4 after one quarter, and Montrose outscored the Pilots 25-11 in the fourth quarter.
Finday, ranked No. 7 by USA Today, hadn’t played since Jan. 29. The team had won seven straight since a 68-66 loss to Norcom (Va.) on Jan. 8.
