Chick-fil-A to open at Sahara, Rancho in 2016

Attention, Chick-fil-A lovers: In a year or so, you not only won't have to go to St. George, Utah, to get a fix of your favorite fillet of chicken breast with its crispy, slightly sweet coating, and the ever popular waffle-cut french fries, you won't even have to go across the valley.

The City of Las Vegas announced in a Tweet Wednesday afternoon that a Chick-fil-A has been approved and is scheduled to open next year at the intersection of Sahara Avenue and Rancho Drive.

It'll be the second valley location, with one on Stephanie Street in Henderson also expected to open sometime next year.

No word on whether we can expect to see the cows roaming around ...
