Driver killed after single-vehicle crash in south Las Vegas
A 58-year-old Las Vegas man was killed after a single-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning in the south Las Vegas Valley, police said.
A 2024 Kia Forte was heading east on Pebble Road, west of Paradise Road, at about 2:15 a.m. when it “failed to maintain the travel lane and entered the raised median,” the Metropolitan Police Department said in a press release.
The Kia Forte continued east on the median and struck a concrete barrier around a power pole, police said.
Police said the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man’s death was the 129th traffic-related fatality in Metro’s jurisdiction for 2025.
The crash remained under investigation.
