Inmate from Clark County dies in Carson City prison

A Northern Nevada Correctional Center inmate died about midnight Monday, a release from the Nevada Department of Corrections said.
Inmate Cread Lyons, 69, died at the Regional Medical Facility at the correctional center in Carson City, the release said.
Lyons was committed from Clark County on May 4, 1993, and was serving a life sentence for first-degree murder, the department said.
The Carson City sheriff's office coroner responded and an autopsy was being scheduled.
