No One Left Out

One of the great things about living in Las Vegas is the number and variety of musical performers who bring their shows to town.

If they've recorded a song at any time in history and they're still alive, chances are good they will play Vegas. For proof, check out the winter holiday entertainment planned over the next few weeks. Some of it makes sense -- Trans-Siberian Orchestra or Mannheim Steamroller, both staples in the holiday music world -- and some are just head-scratchers. Twisted Sister actually recorded a Christmas CD? The band performs a holiday show? And there's an audience for it? Yes, yes and, apparently, yes.

But that's the beauty of Vegas entertainment: there's something for nearly every musical taste. And the holidays are no different. Whether you like Christian rap, classical, easy-listening, country or rock, there's a holiday show for you.

New ‘The Office’ spinoff takes place at a Midwestern newspaper

“The Office,” a mockumentary that detailed the endearing mundanity of life at Dunder Mifflin, ran from 2005 to 2013. It’s one of those comfort-food series some fans revisit again and again. In 2024 it seems like a time capsule, the last days of 9-to-5 culture before work-from-home upended it all.
