Man gets federal prison in ID theft case

A Northern California man was sentenced Thursday to serve 100 months in a federal prison for his part in the identity theft and credit card fraud ring known as “Carder.su.” Makyl Haggerty, also known as “Wave” and “G5,” must also pay $50.5 million in restitution, according to a release from the U.S. attorney’s office.
