Works by Pablo Picasso will be on display, starting July 3, at Bellagio’s Gallery of Fine Art. “Picasso — Creatures and Creativity” will showcase 43 Picasso works created from 1938 to 1971 — 19 lithographs, 13 linocuts, eight paintings and three rare plates centering on the artist’s favorite theme, the human figure.
With a record-setting 21 Tony Awards and more than 50 musicals, plays and operas on his resume as director and/or producer, Hal Prince has tales to tell. And tell them he will on Thursday at The Smith Center’s Reynolds Hall.
To help celebrate its 40th season, the opening night of “Keepin’ It Country” Friday will feature a picnic dinner fundraiser. Other highlights of the season include “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” and “Tarzan The Stage Music Based on the Disney Film.”
