Pulte Homes, a 65-year-old nationwide homebuilding company that is one of the country’s largest, has a long and impressive track record of building more than 30 neighborhoods and thousands of homes in Summerlin. Currently, Pulte offers homes in three neighborhoods from one end of the community to the other.

Blackrock by Pulte Homes in The Canyons at MacDonald Ranch in Henderson, sold all 26 of its first two rounds of released lots since its grand opening in mid-February. The first phase of 14 homesites sold out opening weekend with the second round of 12 homesites selling out this month — both via Pulte’s bidding process.
GLVAR reported that the median price for existing single-family homes sold in Southern Nevada during February through its Multiple Listing Service was $275,000. That’s up 3.8 percent from January and up 14.6 percent from February of 2017. The median price of local condos and townhomes sold in February was $150,000, up 27.1 percent from the same time last year.
