Teen gymnasts from Henderson represent Nevada in competition

The two were the sole Nevada representatives this past weekend at the Championships of the USA gymnastics meet at TD Garden in Boston. Twenty-five athletes nationwide qualified for the meet, with spots on the women’s USA Gymnastics Junior Team on the line.

The firefighters unanimously agreed that the job of cooking during their shifts, usually left to the responsibility of the truck company, had recently been made easier, thanks to a donation from BBQ Concepts. The 10 grills cost a total of $9,820.

Real estate fraud charges dropped against Las Vegas father of 11

Deon Derrico, the father of Las Vegas quintuplets, is officially free of all real estate fraud charges. The two charges hanging over his head after his April acquittal of various real estate fraud charges were dropped Tuesday by the Nevada attorney general’s office.

Miranda Contreras, a full-time member of the U. S. Air Force Reserve and pre-athletic training student at UNLV, was crowned Miss El Tiempo 2019 on Saturday at Sam’s Town Hotel.
