As part of a multimillion-dollar renovation to the rooftop Pool at the Plaza, a food truck was hoisted into place Thursday night at the downtown hotel and casino.
Plaza officials have described the outdoor space as “retro Palm Springs-meets classic downtown Las Vegas.”
The 5- to 6-ton Palm Springs-themed food truck was raised by crane.
The revamped pool area will include a 12-person hot tub, new chaise lounge chairs, cabana suites, gaming, courts for tennis, basketball and basketball, and multiple dining areas with a new bar and several food options.
It will open for hotel guests and the public on July 2.
