Palms shows off renovated hotel rooms

The Palms on Friday showed off the remodel of all 428 rooms of its original hotel tower, as the casino continues its first phase of $50 million in renovations.

"We are very excited to introduce the new concept of our rooms," said Joseph Magliarditi, president of the Palms.

Magliarditi described the new design as "sexy, sleek and cutting edge."

The remodeled rooms feature a modern concept accented with horizontal lines, wood tones and vibrant luxe velvet. Each room also offers the latest in technology, the Palms said.

"The redesigned rooms exemplify the polished experience guests can expect at Palms," Magliarditi said.

Along with the room remodel, other upcoming projects include an updated casino floor with a new center bar, a sports bar, Heraea, and a new pan-Asian restaurant, XISHI. The company expects renovations to continue in stages through next year.
