One killed, another wounded in shooting at Las Vegas strip club

One person was killed and another wounded in a shooting Wednesday morning after a fight at a Las Vegas strip club.

Las Vegas police said a person with a gunshot wound walked into a 7-Eleven convenience store at 529 Rancho Drive about 5:10 a.m.

When officers arrived, they found another person in a car suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot of Larry’s Villa Exotic Lounge across the street at 2401 W. Bonanza Road.

That person died at University Medical Center.

The victim found at the 7-Eleven was taken to the hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.

Police said that homicide detectives were investigating and gang unit detectives were assisting.

Police said the two victims were in a fight with an unknown suspect, left the scene and then returned.

Police logs show a fight was reported at Larry’s Villa at 4:15 a.m.

Officer Laura Meltzer, Las Vegas police spokeswoman, could not say whether the shooting happened inside the strip club or in the parking lot.
