Inmate dies in Northern Nevada prison medical facility

An inmate died Friday at the Northern Nevada Correctional Center in Carson City, according to the Nevada Department of Corrections.

Julian R. Falcon, 49, died in the prison’s Regional Medical Facility at around 7:45 a.m. Friday. Falcon was committed from Mineral County in 1993 and was serving a 150-year sentence for sexual assault, kidnapping, attempted kidnapping, and other charges related to drug possession and battery.

Falcon’s next of kin have been notified.
