Chris Brown causing trouble over selfie

Chris Brown, the Cromwell hotel headliner with a violent past, came to Vegas to perform at Drai’s nightclub. But he also found time to post some emotional things online that some viewed as a threat.

Supermodel Tyson Beckford (he’s in Vegas to to guest star in “Chippendales”) posted a Saturday selfie with Brown’s ex lady Karrueche Tran. It looked like standard publicity to me, because I’m used to the Vegas publicity machine.

But on Sunday, Brown appeared to be none too please. He Tweeted:

“I’m done all this internet talking blood. Be in Vegas soon. Keep playing ima (explective) ya baby momma and then whoop yo child like he mine”

Beckford might be a model, but he responded to Brown’s heat with his own Instagram video of firing a scope rifle at a gun range, as if to say, “Oh yeah?” But actually saying to Brown:

“Just in case you forgot! #pewpew #nra #bang”

Not long ago, Brown was telling radio stations he was all calm and (expletive).

The important part in all of this, obviously: It caused a small online sensation of press for Beckford, “Chippendales,” Karrueche, Brown, Drai’s, PerezHilton.com, Twitter, and me.
